Noida: The owner of the BMW car was ordered to drive a rash and allegedly broke the police barricade at Flyway DND Tuesday night.
No police personnel were injured but a police van was broken.
The incident occurred around 10:45 pm.
Examination of ordinary vehicles for night hours is taking place at various points in the city, including the DND border.
The police chief and other police personnel signaled the driver to stop but he took the speed to escape.
The team chased a car for almost 20 minutes but the defendant somehow managed to escape.
The case has been submitted below section 279 (rash driving) and 307 (trying to murder) IPC against the driver.
