Nagpur: Anil Reliance Defense-headed Ambani has been given an industrial license to make Night Vision teeth by the BoO (BoA) under the Ministry of Commerce.
BoA gives permission to the activities proposed by the entity begins to operate in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
The reliance unit is in Mihan-sez here.
It has a plan to start the second unit to make small weapons.
BoA’s approval, however, is subject to green signals by the Ministry of Defense which will examine the security aspects before approving plants.
This was confirmed by the Development Commissioner Mihan-Sez Sraman Vasireddy.
He was also part of the BoA meeting held last week.
Vasireddy said the Ministry of Defense would ensure whether the security protocol was in line with the norms of defense.
“After that the final agreement will be given,” he said.
Certain steps such as wall settlement boundaries for SEZ also need to be taken.
At present, there is a slit of about 2 km on the wall that limits the Seg Mihan area of the domestic rate (DTA) area.
SEZ needs to be limited well from other regions through limits.
The work is expected to be taken soon with the customs zone that has been delayed since several years.
The boundary wall is also one of the security requirements.
In another meeting, the proposal to prepare the free trade warehousing zone in Mihan was also taken.
Here traders can store goods that can be exported or removed for sale in the domestic market.
Vasireddy said a NGO also came with a proposal to beautify Lake Telhara.
NGOs plan to plant trees around the lake inside Sez.
Lake, spread around 100 hectares, surrounded by land allocated to intended Satyam computers now Tech Mahindra.
In other development, the land solving ceremony of the ‘Machine Hospital’ proposed by Kalpana Saroj Global Aviation has been planned on Sunday.
The company is a subsidiary which is fully owned by Kamani Tubes Limited led by Kalpana Saroj.
The company has plans to come up with bay machines where aircraft engines can be maintained.
It has been given a hectare of land in Mihan-sez.
