Vadodara: a city corporator who has made aggressive representation of encroachment on the main road by the alleged religious agency that he has received a threat call from an unknown person.
Corporators have filed police complaints about threat calls.
Nitin Donga, Corporator from Ward 10, has raised the problem of a religious place built by penetrating the main road near the Road J police station.
He has taken problems with Brass over Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC).
Donga also raised this problem at the Civic Body meeting.
After a representation, VMC issued a notification to the religious site that asked him to remove encroachment.
“There is illegality and I show it,” Donga said.
Donga accepted the alleged threat call on Thursday night after he gave complaints to the Gotri police station.
Corporator said that callers threatened that if the religious place was revealed, he would ensure Donga also suffered the same fate.
The caller has used the words ‘Gira Denge’ which is generally used as a slang to convey that someone will be killed.
Donga said that he did not react much with a call and approached the police.
“Maybe some immoral elements that might not be serious about the threat.
The police can track it and register violations if needed,” he said.
