Gurgaon: Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) Board Members will re-raise the issue of the takeover of private colonies by the Civic body at the next house meeting, which is scheduled for October 11 (Monday).
The meeting will take place at John Hall, civil lines at 11am.
Board members tend to discuss various problems, including water connection measurements, construction of ‘road models’ in every environment, construction of community centers, procurement of fogging machines, cleaning and repairing defecation and drain repairs, among others.
Ntal problem.
This meeting will be held after two months.
The last meeting was held on July 31.
According to MCG officials, a survey of 11 private colonies to assess the lack of infrastructure has been completed.
“We are preparing a detailed project report on all 11 private colonies, we have not received the agreement for the takeover of three developers.
We will immediately send a report to senior officials for their agreement,” he added.
The private colonies that have not been taken over by MCG include Mayfield Park, Malibu Towne, World Vipul, Sushant Lok-2 and 3, Greenwood City, Rosewood City, Housing Uppa, DLF-4 and DLF-5.
The residents of these colonies have demanded that Civic agencies accelerate the process that claimed the condition of the deteriorating civil infrastructure.
Joginder Singh, Chairperson of the Gurgaon Citizen Forum, said that the process of the colony transfer has occurred at a very slow pace and should have been completed for a long time.
We suffer from both parties because the developer meets its responsibility for maintenance, the MCG also does not handle utilities such as roads, sewers , water and street lights.
We have even met the Mayor’s Commissioner and MCG asking them to do some works until the transfer process is complete, but it doesn’t work.
