Munich: The 2014 German World Cup winner Jerome Boateng on Thursday was fined 1.8 million euros ($ 2 million) by a court in Munich after being found guilty of attacking his ex-partner three years ago.
Smooth which was very good at the Munich Regional Court came after Boateng was punished for endangering the intentional body and insulted his ex-girlfriend, named Sherin Senler.
After Judge Kai Dinglingdissen gave his verdict, Boateng rushed out of the courtroom, surrounded by a bodyguard and left with a black SUV, which was chased by the photographer.
The prosecutor Stefanie Eckert called for a prison sentence of being suspended 18 months and a fine of 1.5 million euros for what he described as a “toxic relationship”.
Boateng, 33, who signed for the French club Lyon last week after a decade at Bayern Munich, attacked the mother of her twin daughter during the Caribbean vacation in 2018.
The previous defense denied the allegations because she testified for almost two hours.
Previously, the ex-girlfriend of the meeting had told the court how he punched him, causing him to lose a breath for a moment during the argument that was heated during a luxury vacation.
The incident occurred on weeks after the World Cup in Russia, when Boateng was in German troops who were eliminated in the group stage.
The tension was said to run high between the former couple, who did not agree with the life arrangement when Boateng pursued a high transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, who had never materialized.
The court in Munich heard how an argument broke up on card games.
While providing evidence, the former Boateng pair described how he was “pressing my eyes with his thumb, biting me on my head and pulling me to the floor with my hair.” He said with Boateng, which was 1.90 meters high (6 feet) high, repeatedly insulted him and hit him behind with “one strong blow and a few light blows.
That’s when I lost my breath for a moment.” Boateng and his ex-boyfriend were also locked in a sustainable legal dispute over their twin daughter prisoners, who currently live with footballers.
He is the latest soccer player who appears in the case of a high court.
Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendi is currently being held in England ahead of potential experiments on rape and allegations of sexual violence.
The verdict in Munich was the last chapter that was chaotic in years turbulent for Boateng.
Former boyfriend, Influencer and Model Kasia Lenhardt, found dead had committed suicide in a flat Berlin in February when he went playing for Bayern at the Club World Cup in Qatar.
He was immediately given permission to fly home after news of his death.
The 25-year-old died six days after Boateng completed their relationship.
He then gave a separation details during an honest interview with the top German daily Bild.
After making 363 appearances of more than 10 years at Bayern Munich, winning the nine Bundesliga and two Champions League titles, Boateng’s contract was not extended when expiration in June.
Since then he joined Lyon.
He is an important part of the German forces who won the fourth World Cup crown in Brazil, but had not played for his country since being issued by the former coach of the National Team Joachim Loew in March 2019.
Boateng still added 76 hats under the substitute for Loew’s Hansi Flick, a former coach at Bayern Munich, who led the bavaria giants to the treble title in 2019/20.
