Tirupur: Tourist, who visited Amaravathy Dam this weekend, was very surprised to see the start of boating service.
Growing in Dam is one of the favorite tourist activities during the pre-covid period.
However, the boating was suspended in the dam after the kuncian.
Because the state government has relaxed limiting locking, which allows tourist attractions to be reopened, the authorities have decided to continue boating service too.
Amaravati Dam, the water position is quite comfortable for boating, thanks to rain in the recent water catchment area.
Officials said the dam with a storage capacity of 90ft had reached a full reservoir level recently and the surplus water was released into the Amaravathy River.
Preficials said tourists have dripped since Saturday and many of them have taken boating services.
“In the coming days, the number of boats and travel will increase, because more tourists are expected to visit the dam,” said an official.
