THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two cyclists were allegedly missing as three fishing boats set off from Poonthura capsized off Vizhinjam shore here on Tuesday night. The fishermen in 2 ships could be recovered nonetheless two fishermen at one of these ships were reported lost. Coastal authorities stated that rescue mission was around. The ships had put away from Poonthura around night and have been captured in solid waves. The ships then led towards Vizhinjam lane and capsized in powerful waves. Thiruvananthapuram was lashed by heavy showers Tuesday and intermittent gusty wind was likewise reported in a couple of places. The fishermen were made to keep off sea because of harsh weather for the past couple of days. Jose, one of those boat owners stated they were anticipating more ships to get there in Vizhinjam harbour. Among those ships almost arrived close to the harbour as it capsized. Three anglers were brought safely ashore by Coast Guard and they’ve been taken to hospital,” he explained.
