KOLLAM: CID Q branch from Tamil Nadu police reported as a native of Rameswaram who bought fishing boats from Neendakara to detention on suspicion of human trafficking allegations.
Joseph Raj, Indigenous Rameswaram has bought a ship from Shefeer House from Palottu House, Sakthikualngara, in June this year used Benami and turned the ship to accommodate around 50 people on the human deck to be used for human trafficking.
Shefeer sold his ship St Alex to Easwari, a genuine KULATHUPUZHA and Joseph Raj’s relatives, for Rs.40 lakh.
But it was Joseph Raj who paid the money to Shefeer.
Then, he brought the ship to Rameswaam and changed his body, changed the color, and increased the diesel tank capacity with many times.
However, he complained to the Rameswaram police 10 days ago that his ship was gone.
When the police investigation intensified the Q CID branches of investigating and in their investigation were more detailed.
The Q branch told the central intelligence agency, a special branch of Kerala and Coastal Police about human trafficking opportunities using a modified fishing vessel.
According to reports, Easwari is in detention branch Q to be questioned.
Shefeer has a close relationship with Joseph Raj and he has given the part of his contemplation of him.
Meanwhile, Shefeer said he had fulfilled all legal formalities when he sold a boat.
According to Shefeer, it is a practice in the fisheries sector in Neendakara owning a joint fisherman.
Some such ships have a shared owner of Tamil Nadu because most workers from Tamil Nadu and Kerala go for fishing on the same ship.
