Lucknow / Bahraich: The body of two minors – a 8-year-old girl and 6-year-old boy – recovering from the farm field in the Bahraich District Fakharpur area on Saturday.
Children have a sign of injuries in their necks caused by sharp-eyed weapons.
Eyewitnesses told the police about a suspicious movement of several people in the area that reached there in four-wheeled vehicles and carrying a bag with them.
Police suspect that children may have been killed elsewhere and their bodies removed in the field.
The police have not identified the body and said that property disputes cannot be ruled as a cause of murder.
Four teams have been formed to look into this case.
A farmer, Shreeram Lodhi, saw the bodies and told the police.
Senior police officers, including representatives of the General Inspector, Devipatan series, Rakesh Singh, and Bahraich SP, Sujata Singh, and Fakharpur Station responsible Rajesh Kumar reached a place to oversee investigators.
A forensic team visited a place to gather proof and dog squad also pressed into service.
