Tirupur: The scorched body of a man was found in a remote place in Palladam on Monday Postmortem.
Police estimate the body to become a 25-year-old man.
However, they could not identify the person because his face was completely burned.
The police found a blank bottle close to the body, which was thought to have been used to bring gasoline to that place.
They examined the list of missing people inside and around Palladam in an effort to identify victims.
They also investigate if the person was killed in another place and the body was thrown in place or if the murder occurred where it was found.
