Body North Delhi Civic Extends Property Tax Deadline

New Delhi: Maintaining orders ordered until the last time, the corporation of the Municipal North Delhi finally announced his decision to extend the last date of the delivery of property taxes until July 15.
South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) also considered the option, but was not formal announcement to Wednesday night.
“We plan to extend the deadline until the end of July and immediate formal order will be issued,” said Mayor Mukesh Suryan.
SDMC has collected Rs 250 Crore as a property tax until June 30, according to officials.
The Civic body has targeted to collect RS 950 Crore as a property tax in 2021-22.
On Wednesday, the online tax archiving system and the office that received a check witnessed a heavy rush.
Many people complain that they cannot file tax online or are left constantly pursuing citizenship officials until evening about any plan to extend dates, but fail to get updates.
“We made an announcement about extending the deadline Wednesday night.
People will get a discount – like 15% for advance payments, 15% for senior citizens or women, extra 2% discounts for online payments (if the amount of taxable to rs 10,000 ) – Until July 15, but there will be no extension afterwards 32 Crore was collected in one day – on Tuesday – when at least 1,400 people filed online taxes, “said a North corporate official.
Meanwhile, the East Delhi Municipal Corporation, has extended deadlines until August 31.
