Body of Losing capt of All barge P305 identified

MUMBAI: The entire body of Rakesh Ballav, missing captain of this unlucky barge P305 which sank off the Mumbai coast when cyclone Tauktae shattered this past month, was identified by DNA matching, ” a police officer said on Friday.
The body has been identified following the DNA sample of the family member paired, the officer stated.
Captain Ballav was lost because barge P305 sank from the Arabian Sea on May 16.
The authorities had sent DNA samples of anonymous bodies to Forensic Science Lab in Kalina here.
While ten figures such as that of Ballav have been identified, over 20 bodies are not yet been identified, ” the official stated.
P305, a lodging barge, was one of the boats deployed by means of a contractor company in ONGC’s gas and oil regions near Mumbai.
A total of 274 team members have been reported lost May 17, for example 261 out of tbe barge.
The Navy and Coast Guard rescued 188 individuals.
