Boeing can win orders up to 80 737 jet max from Indian Akasas

Boeing CO can win the order earlier this week for around 70 to 80 737 Jet Max from Indian billionaire Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Akasa Akasa, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday, quoting people who are familiar with this problem.
The agreement could be announced during Dubai Airshow, which began on November 14, the report said.
News about potential orders emerged after India’s authority in August cleaned the Boeing’s best-selling jet to fly, ending the rules on the main travel market for boxer makers.
Reuters had reported in September that Boeing almost won orders for around 70 to 100 737 Jet Max from Akasan, awaiting separate talks on a long-term machine service agreement.
Akasa is set to launch the latest Ultra-low-cost operator after securing the initial permit from the Indian Civil Aviation Ministry last month.
Boeing shares rose 1.1% in afternoon trade.
“We are always looking for opportunities and talking to current and potential customers about how we can support their fleet and operational needs,” Boeing said in a statement.
Lasukan did not respond to a comment request.
