Ludhiana: Compero GST Center (CGST), Ludhiana, on Thursday captured other entrepreneurs for fake bills worth several crores and utilizing fraud input tax credit around Rs 12 Crore.
The defendant Gurbakhash Singh was said to be a hand in gloves with a fake bill accused of Baljinder Singh Bunty who was arrested earlier this year.
After the arrest on Thursday, the defendant was produced in a local court which stopped him for judicial rights until January 6th was the second arrest by the CGST department in the range of two days, as on Wednesday a businessman was arrested for passing the fraudulent ITC of Rs 34 Crore.
A source in the department said, “During the case investigation, the name Gurbakhash Singh appeared.
He has and controlled the two companies where he used and delivered the deception of Rs 12 Crore by using a fake invoice around Rs 77 Crore.
In his voluntary statement to the CGST department, The defendant has acknowledged that these two companies were created in Convance with Bunty only to receive and issue fake invoices and show trade without goods to utilize the ITC of fraud.
Based on the evidence collected and the defendant’s statement, he was detained under the arrest and produced before the judge, who It has stopped him for Judicial custody until January 6 is in Of Fictitious companies.
On the web company spinning by Bunty with the help of others, he passed ITC fraud worth some crores by showing fake sales and purchasing entries in various companies.
Besides Bunty, there are several more arrests in this matter.
In one example, the duo of the father-child was arrested last month because of using ITC fraud around Rs 13.5 Crore on a fake invoice around Rs 91.73 Crore through four fake companies.
