Bokaro: Bokaro will soon have an industrial cluster at 1,000 hectares as part of the industrial corridor of the union government amritsar-kolkata.
The cluster will appear on the ground owned by Indian Steel Authority Limited (Sail).
The source in the District Administration on Wednesday told the Toi that the Jharkhand government recently formed a six-member committee to prepare the master plan for the project.
“The State Industry Department will soon hold a meeting with district administrative officials and decide the nature of the industrial estate,” said an official here.
Subsidiary Sail Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL) will submit 1,000 hectares to the Industrial Department to develop a cluster.
The Head of BSL Communication Manikan Dhan did not respond when contacted.
The Development Project of the Amritsar Industrial Corridor – Kolkata will include countries such as Gujarat, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh other than Jharkhand.
