A resident of Gandhinagar, 37-year-old Bablu Kumar family who was again worried about his safety and had appealed to the Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a safe return.
Speaking with Toi for the call WhatsApp on Thursday, he said, “I have booked a ticket in advance for August 16 for India but I was stranded now.” Given the scene of chaos in Kabul and on the road to the airport that day, he said, “I could hear guns around and like that was a situation that I feared and rushed back to my flat where I lived.

“Kumar worked as an operator in a battery manufacturing company in Kabul.
In October 2018, he went there to work.
But he used to visit the house twice or three years to meet with his family who included three brothers, his wife Lakho Devi, and his two sons, aged 10 and 7.
“I relate to my family back in Bokaro,” he said.
“I work for a company called Afghanistan Rana,” he said.
The owner of his company has saved it at the guesthouse which is about 10 minutes from Kabul Airport.
“They were all asked to stay inside the house because Taliban fighters moved out.
Settings have been made for food at home by the company owner.
We don’t know what to do now.

Kumar is currently in a 180 day visa.
Following a visit to his family on April 25, he went to Afghanistan on June 2 when the situation worsened, his company told him that he was better back to his country.
So he booked a plane ticket for August 16 but couldn’t catch a flight.
His family members have asked Prime Minister and First Minister through Twitter to ensure a safe return.
Lal Babu, my brother’s deep, said, “We are a family together.
Bablu has gone to Kabul to get money and lift our family from poverty.
He was stranded there now.
We are worried about his safety.
The government must act immediately.”
