Bokaro races to achieve 100% vaccination target

Bokaro: Bokaro District Administration competes against time to achieve 100% vaccine coverage on January 20 after the state government earlier this week directing the Ministry of Health to work towards the target in the views of omicron variants in Covid-19 in the country.
In Bokaro, the authorities have decided to launch camps at the Panchayat level to increase vaccination coverage in rural areas.
In urban areas, more than 90% of beneficiaries have received the first dose and 55% are taken second shot.
Deputy Commissioner Kuldeep Chaudhary said efforts to speed up inoculation drives.
“We have activated more than 120 vaccination sites where both doses are given.
We exercise plan to improve the site to intensify the Jab drive,” he said.
He said they regularly reviewed the block-wise trend to take corrective steps.
“The check has begun at the level of Panchayat to ascertain whether everyone meets the requirements of vaccinated or not.
Representatives of Mukhiya and Panchayat are also asked to work on a war footing for a 100% vaccine range in their area.
We are close to reaching the target for the first dose.

Every day more than 12,000 people are vaccinated, “he said.
