Bokaro: The district wellness machinery has put a 20-bed committed Covid-19 ward for kids in the Bokaro sadar hospital .
The ward will get operational from Monday.
“The ward, that has been put up in the sadar hospital A Block, will soon be completely oxygen-supported.
Further, the 10 beds will soon be armed with ventilators.
Ventilators have came from Ranchi and can be fitted in a day or 2,” Bokaro deputy commissioner Rajesh Singh explained.
Dr N P Singh, the deputy superintendent of sadar hospital,” stated that the Covid-19 ward for kids will get provision for indoor games, comics and television.
At exactly the identical time, another OPD is also being organized for kids with Covid symptoms.
The Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) had been creating structures in expectation for a potential third wave.
A 50-bed jumbo Covid centre has been installed in the HRD Centre of BSL.
