Kolkata: The stray incident was reported in Kolkata on Friday and Saturday at the Ballygunge-Dhakuria-Kasba belt.
Also, at Tatasaala Naka on Saturday, two people were nabbed because they carry weapons from Budge Budge to Alipore.
SANJIB CHATTERJEE – A major election campaigner for Independent candidate Tanima Chatterjee – Alleged he was having dinner at the place of eating at his residence at around 11:30 a.m.
on Friday when he heard the young man outside said his name.
“Brother is the election agent of Trinamool candidate Sudarshna Mukherjee in the last election.
These people, who came on three bikes, asked me not to work for Chaterjee and lobbied two bombs towards my residence.
One exploded,” he said.
However, Mukherjee, rejected the accusation, said the complainant had “made” the incident to get sympathy.
The police said Bomb Sutli left and they were investigating.
In the Chowbhaga Kasba area, intra-party clashes involving Trinamool workers who were allegedly late on Friday night.
The two groups accused the others had incited the attack.
Officially, Trinamool said “outsiders” of Topsia organized and led the attack.
There are several tensions in the Dhakuria area by accusing Trinamool, the left nomination and members of the neighborhood council of Madhu Chhanda Deb are trying to collect voter cards from those who have died recently.
