Bombs at Afghan capital Kabul kill 10, wound 12

KABUL: Three bombs rattled the Afghan capital Kabul late Tuesday killing at least 10 people and plunging the town in darkness, an Afghan government spokesman said.
Two bombs exploded in rapid succession in distinct areas in a west Kabul area, killing 10 people and wounding several others, stated deputy Interior Ministry spokesman Said Hamid Rushan.
A third bomb greatly damaged an electric grid station in north Kabul, stated Sangar Niazai, a spokesman for the authorities power distribution department.
The first two bombings, equally targeting minivans, occurred in a largely ethnic Hazara region of the funds, ” said Rushan.
