Hyderabad: Women, who visited the temples in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderbad, had to follow the prevention steps of Covid-19’s pandemic such as social distance and put on a mask, urged by Minister of Telangana for the farm, Talangaani Srinivas Yadav.
The minister who reviewed the arrangements in the temples, remembered the Bonalu Festival, which began in Telangana from July 11.
The minister invited all major department officials including endowmen, police, income, electricity, water supply and roads in Secunderabad on Wednesday.
In accordance with the old tradition for decades, the first bonum will be offered to Goddess Jagdamba located on the top of a historic Golconda hill, marked to celebrate the Bonalu Festival.
According to the Minister, on July 25, Bonalu will be celebrated at the Ujini Temple of Mahakali in Secunderabad and on July 26 ‘Rangam’ (Oracle Prediction in the future) will be held.
Simultaneously, Bonalu will be celebrated on August 1, in Laldarwaja, Mirankali Temple.
Minister Tornasani asked the executive officer of the temple, to follow Covid-19 ‘standard operational procedures’ (SOP) at the place of each temple to follow social distance.
The right barricade and sanitation system must ensure, for the safety of lakh women’s worshipers, who come to offer Bonum.
