Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Police Department has asked the state government to ban the books he said containing extreme religious fundamentalism.
The police asked the state government to ban the circulation of the book “Mashari al-Ashwaq ila Masari Al Ushaaq” and said the book could mislead youth into extremism and force them to join terrorist organizations.
According to the police, this book contains content that promotes anti-national attitudes and hatred among religions.
The police recommend the government to ban book circulation on all platforms, including social media.
The state government has formed a three member committee to check and recommend forbid the book.
The Committee will check whether the book contains burdensome materials
