Booklet on the world heritage site released

Hyderabad: as many as 40 world heritage sites around the world, recognized by the Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization of the United Nations (UNESCO), has now released a postage stamp on 16 sites.
For the first time, officials Circle Post Telangana came up with a unique booklet, which contains 40 world heritage sites.
On Tuesday, chief postmaster general, Circle Telangana, S Rajendra Kumar, release on the occasion of “National Tourism Day ‘held in Dak Sadan in Hyderabad.
There are 40 world heritage sites, including 32 cultural sites, seven natural sites and one site in India mix criteria.
Telangana Department of Post has released stamps on some of this UNESCO world heritage site in three separate series.
In the first series, the hill fort of Rajasthan including the Amer Fort, Chittorgarh Fort, Fort Gagron, Jaisalmer Fort, Kumbhalgarh and Fort Ranthambore.
Natural sites including Manas Wildlife Sanctuary, Great Himalayan National Park, Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers National Parks and the Western Ghats.
In the second series, cultural sites, including the historic city of Ahmedabad – Sarkhej Roza, church and convent Goa – BOM Jesus Church, a group of monuments at Pattadakal, and the third series, Khajuraho group of monuments, temples Javari, Qutb Minar and monuments.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief PMG, S Rajendra Kumar said, “The aim behind the release of the booklet is to encourage the identification, protection and preservation of cultural and natural heritage around the world, is considered as a value for humanity.
Of the 40 world heritage sites, we have released stamps at 16 sites and make sure that this booklet is a great addition to the products filates from Circle Telangana.
