Chandigarh: Secretary General of Punjab BJP Subhash Sharma has written to the DGP who is looking for Registration of FIR against SKM leaders to promote hostility between different groups, disgusting, and relevant legal parts, because they are intentioning to Hindus intentionally the burning of the salary of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of South Sumatra Amit Shah on Dussehra.
“Every effort not to respect and disturb the Dussehra must be limited,” Sharma wrote in his letter.
Dussehra is an important festival where Ravan parking, Kumbhkaran and Meghnad are burned after a religious process that is due.
“There is sanctity of the process.
Religious sentiment will be injured if there are interference created by troops who deliberately try to incite and create an atmosphere of interference in the celebration season,” he added.
Sharma has also brought the DGP notice that the Supreme Court, in some cases, has provided direction to the police to take precautionary measures if there are some strengths trying to violate peace and create disharmony at religious festivals.
“Our festival is part of our lives and many people celebrate Dussehra with religious purposes,” he added.
This will be a colossal error if this sensitive problem is not handled carefully and competence, he said.
SKM’s decision to burn the extension of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Home Affairs is an indication of their intention and the police must be very vigilant to maintain the “sanctity of the religious festival”, he added.
