Lucknow: With the aim of providing benefits for farmers, the Cooperative Department has established 74 Godowns with 100 tons capacities.
This was inaugurated by the Minister of Cooperative Mukut Bihari Verma on Thursday.
The warehouse has been built by the State Construction Cooperative and Cooperative Community Construction and Labor Construction.
Verma said that with the construction of this warehouse, better facilities for grain storage etc.
will be given to farmers.
“It will maintain product security and help them get better prices for their products when sold at the right time,” he said.
Community Implementation Director of the State of Construction Cooperative Dhirendra Singh said that construction work from various departments in the state was being carried out through 35 blocks of construction.
He said that in 2019-20, the cooperative did the work of Rs 573.31 Crore and at 2020-21 it was carried out by Hospital 607.96 Crore.
