Gurugram: The city will manage the Covid-19 booster or the dose of ‘precautions’ on those over 60 years with comorbidity, who have completed nine months since the second dose, starting today.
The Ministry of Health will establish 108 sessions on Monday, the first day of drive booster vaccination.
While 68 sessions will provide covishield, 40 will manage Covaxin.
The recipient does not have to re-register on the Cowin portal for the booster dose.
Instead, they can make an appointment online or walk to any session site.
Gurugram has opened 8,000 online slots and 5,000 for Walk-in receivers.
Nearly 800 recipients in the district qualified for Booster Covaxin and 37,200 for covishield in accordance with administration.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has notified all government officials to dedicate the area for vaccination camps in their respective places so that people who work in these offices can take the earliest Jab.
