LONDON: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been identified by the state-and-footprint system as contact Coronavirus confirmed – but unlike thousands of compatriot, he did not need to stay at home for 10 days.

Johnson’s office said that the prime minister was warned overnight with the test-and-trace phone application.
He held a meeting on Friday with Health Secretary of Sajid Javid, who was positively tested for Covid-19 on Saturday.
Javid, who has been fully vaccinated, said he was experiencing mild symptoms.
People who are told through the application should isolate themselves, even though it is not legal requirement.
Contact positive cases are usually recommended to isolate themselves for 10 days.
But Johnson’s office said the Prime Minister would actually take a daily Coronavirus test as part of an alternative system tested on several workplaces, including the government.
The same applies to the Chief Treasury Rishi Sunak, who is also contacted after meeting Javid.
The government said the two men would only do important government business during this period.
“England experienced rising cases of coronavirus, and the ‘pingdem’ ‘association of hundreds of thousands of people told to travel because they had done it near someone who tested positive.
Businesses include restaurants, car manufacturers and subway London said they faced staff lack because of self-isolation rules.
Jonathan Ashworth, a health spokesman for the Opposition Labor Party, said many people would be angry that there was a special route “ VIP ” to avoid self isolation.

Johnson was seriously ill with Coronavirus in April 2020, spent three nights being hospitalized in intensive care.
His latest exposure came when the government prepared to lift the remaining locking steps on Monday.

But the government urges people to be careful, because cases soar because the Delta variant which is very transmitting from the virus was first identified in India.
More than 54,000 new infections were confirmed on Saturday, the highest daily total since January.

More than two-thirds of British adults have both vaccine shots.
British officials look nervous in Israel and the Netherlands, both opened the community after vaccinating most of the population.
The two countries recently reached out some restrictions after a new infection surge.
