(This story was first published in Maharashtra Times on August 10, 2021) Mumbai: In a surprising incident, a stack of liquor was found in the Diner of the Legislative Secretariat Maharashtra (Mantalaya) located in Mumbai.
The recovery of bottle of liquor sent officials to officials to Mytralaya became tizzy when they wondered how alcohol entered the place in the first place, given the strict security settings that had been put in place.
Immediately after liquor was restored, information about the same deployment as the leaders of BJP Wildfire and opposition criticized the Government of Maha Vikas Aghadi.
“Is this a government office or liquor store?,” BJP asked.
It added that while religious places, offices and shops were closed by the country quoted a Pandemic Covid-19, the ministers feast in Mantraya, and they also had liquor.
Investigation has been launched into the problem and effort is made to find out how the liquor reaches in the secretariat.
