Lucknow: King George’s Medical University (KGMU) has hired guards to escort new students from hostels to class to protect them from Ragging when the new session starts on Monday.
This is the first time such a setting made.

According to a spokesman, Dr.
Sudhir Singh, about 20 guards will take new students from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scientific Convention Center to their hostel to protect them from Ragging.

The MBBS academic session starts on August 1 every year, but the batch session 2021-22 has been postponed by almost six and a half months.
