Bowlers Help Bangladesh First Claim T20 Wins over New Zealand

Dhaka: Bangladesh beat New Zealand for the first time in Twenty20 Internationals, applying kiwi for 60 in the first match on Wednesday.
Shakib Al Hasan made 25 as Bangladesh expelled their target in 15 overs to win with seven goats and lead the five-match series 1-0 in Dhaka.
But it was the Bowler who set up a victory with Mustafizur Rahman took three to stop New Zealand for the lowest T20 total with them – the same score against Sri Lanka in 2014 in Chat – in 16.5.
Skipper Tom Latham and Henry Nicholls scored 18 each while the rest of the battery failed to enter the double digit.
Nasum spinners Ahmed, Shakib and Pace Bowler Mohammad Saifuddin each took two goals.
Mahedi Hasan crashed into his debut Rachin Ravindra out for golden duck after being arrested and detained by off-spinner.
Shakib Bowled will be young for five and the left-arm spinner then gets two goals in one time including Colin de Grandhomme, for one, to reduce New Zealand to 9-4.
Latham and Nicholls wore 34 runs for the fifth goal but Saifuddin broke the holder with a captain’s Wicket to shuffle New Zealand.
Cole McConchie’s debut came out to be in vain and Saifuddin sent Nicholls again when Batting New Zealand fell like a pack of cards.
Bangladesh, who turned out Australia for 62 months ago to seal T20 Series 4-1 in Dhaka, dropped New Zealand for the lowest total against them.
In return, Bangladesh lost their opening with only seven people with Mohammad Naim falling to McConchie and Liton Das confused at Ajaz Patel’s left arm round.
Ravindra cut the Shakib stay at The Wicket before Mushfiqur Rahim, who made 16, and Captain Mahmuditlah Riyad, who scored 14, took home the team.
The second T20 is on Friday with all matches to be played in the same place.
