Akshay Kumar Festive Release, ‘Bell Bottom’ enjoyed a 4-day extended weekend at the box office.
With a cinema that runs 50% and many houses are still closed due to the restrictions on Pandemic Covid-19, this film still manages to get fans to the cinema and get around Rs 4,25-4.50 Crore Nett on Sunday.
According to a report on boxofficeindia.com, the estimated week collection shows growth even though there is a close on the theater and only 40% of the market in operations with Maharashtra Shut and similar scenarios throughout the country.
The business weekend business is expected around RS 13 Crore Nett.
Even though the number is low, growth growth on Sundays implies increasing conditions in the theater window.
All eyes now on what numbers are replaced by films on Mondays that will not only determine their fate at the box office but can also predict the success of other films just issuing the theater release.

Commenting on the risk of releasing ‘bell bottom’ in the middle of some restrictions in India, Akshay has told PTI, “the pressure is in everyone, but I am very sure that everything will succeed.
There are challenges, risks.
But if you have not taken risks in life , then what have you done? so we have gone with it.
On this trip, I have my producer who also takes risks and that’s what we have done.
”
While talking about the theater closed in Maharashtra, Akshay has added, “This is a bet and someone has to take this gamble.
We have taken this leap and I am sure that this will succeed.”
‘Bell Bottom’ which also features Lara Dutta, Vaani Kapoor and Huma Qureshi in an important role, is the first Bollywood film that was fully shot during locking.
The film was previously scheduled for release in April but was postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic.
