Kangana Ranaut and Team ‘Thalavii’ advanced to release films throughout India on September 10, even though the theater was closed at the Maharashtra circuit massively.
The film also faces a blow because the Hindi version has not released in several national chains throughout the country.
Going by the initial numbers at BoxOfficeindia.com, ‘Thalavii’ has managed to collect RS 4.75 Crore at the first weekend.

Directed by Al Vijay, ‘thalavii’ is a biopics at the end of J Jayaalalithaa and has produced around RS 1 Crore Nett in Hindi in three days -25 lakh nett on Friday, 30 lakh nett on Sundays.
‘Thalavii’ gets the best performance from the Tamil version when the film produces around Rs 2.75 Crore Nett in Tamil Nadu and 50 lakh on other circuits, especially Bangalore.
Kangana Ranaut’s film produces RS 1 Crore Nett in Chennai.
Circuits such as Nizam / Andhra contribute around 50 lakh to the box office collection collection.
In totality, ‘Thalavii’ produces Rs 4.75 Crore in three days.
Interestingly, Veteran Simi actress Garewal recently revealed how Jayalalithaa wanted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play her role in biopics.
