LUCKNOW: Digari Mahesh, 25, a young professional Fighter from Lucknow, Will Be set to Carry on Russian Winner Tigran Ujlyan at the Winline Boxing Night International Championship to be held in Sochi, Russia on June 25.
Son of a retired military guy, Pushkar Singh, Digari is your very first expert circuit fighter from Lucknow to take part in an worldwide event.
Presently, he’s undergoing training in a particular camp at Bangalore beneath his trainer Mujtaba Kamal.
“Like my dad, I’ve got a fire to make my country proud.
I’m a little competitive by nature, and so I chose to channelize my power .
My journey started in 2009 once I began training in KD Singh Babu Stadium beneath Abhishek Kumar Dhanuk.
I continued here until 2014 and then proceeded into professional boxing and moved to Bangalore for coaching,” explained Digari, a resident of Nilmatha.
As boxing was his first love, his research had been changed.
He did his early education in Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gomtinagar, but needed to leave the college after failing two in Class 9.
Thereafterhe continued his research as an individual offender.
“Digari is a really strong competitor.
He holds second place in the position of Indian professional fighters at the light weight class.
Maintaining his power and strength, we chose to deliver him to shoot on the Russian winner,” explained Mujtaba Kamal, Digari’s trainer in Grassroot Boxing Promotions & Management, Bangalore.
“Tigran is the national winner of Russia.
There’ll be just 1 game of eight rounds.
Although my clinic sessions got changed because of this coronavirus pandemic, my trainer made special trainings for me.
He’s played a vital part in my own preparations.
I expect I appear victorious and also make my country proud,” Digari stated.
