Mumbai: The train police arrested a teenager within 24 hours after he reached for a woman inappropriately in the women’s compartment before robbing his cellphone and fled after jumping from the train that moved before reaching the Vasai train station.
The police team found it difficult to bring the defendant Akash Dodhe (19) to the police station after he managed to defeat them after responding to several narcotics.
The police have restored stolen phones from Dodhe.
The incident was reported on August 12 after the victim, Julie Jaiswal (24), ride the Virar train bound from Borivli to travel to his vasai house.
The police with the help of data dumps from calls received on stolen cellphones helped them track Dodhe from Vasai locality on Friday.

Accused of Dodhe Hails from Harihareshwar in the Ratnagiri District and conducted part time work in Mumbai.
