Boy 2 months old died of injury burns

Coimbatore: A 63-day-old boy, who sustained 70% burned in a strange accident last month, died at the hospital here on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as T athiran, the son of Thiyagarajan and Swathi, from Amman Nagar in Thondaamuthur.
“Swathi holds his baby when he burned garbage in the backyard of the house on December 28th.
His shawl caught fire, which quickly swallowed it.
He managed to use water.
Neighbors save him and babies, and rushed to a private hospital.
Swathi has suffered 30% of burns and 70% child.
Athir surrendered to injury on Tuesday, “said a police officer.
The police have recorded Swathi’s statement.
Thiyagarajan, an IT employee, not at home at the time of the incident, the officer added.
The Thonbamuthur police have registered a case under the CRPC 174 section (suspicious death).
