CHENNAI: The city police have detained two individuals including a small boy beneath the strict the Safety of Children against Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act for sexual assault on women below 18 about the assurance of union in various events.
Among the women from Vadapalani went missing May and also an evaluation by the all-women authorities showed she eloped with a 17-year-old boy.
They had been bonded and followed and because the woman was sexually attacked, and the boy had been reserved under the Pocso Act and remanded in judicial custody.
Likewise, the R K Nagar police detained a 21-year-old guy for sexual assault on a little woman.
The woman went missing on May 16 and has been tracked following investigation.
Inquiries revealed her boyfriend Karthik of all Tondiarpet took her on the promise of union and sexually attacked him.
Karthik was reserved under the Pocso Act and remanded in judicial custody.
