Coimbatore: A school student committed suicide in Pollachi on Sunday after his mother refused to submit it through his cellphone to play the game online.
Class-ix boys from government schools in Polachi underwent surgery for appendicitis two months ago and were resting at home since then, according to a complaint submitted by Ms.

During this time, he often used his mother’s cellphone and downloaded online games, Free Fire, and often played it, said the complaint.
Meanwhile, his parents have advised him not to play online games and use cellphones for hours.
On Sunday morning, the boy went to work.
“When his son’s son and sister will go outside, the boy asked his mother to give his phone.
He refused and asked him to be safe at home,” said a police officer.
“When he returned in the afternoon, he found his son hanging from the ceiling using Lungi,” the officer added.
Based on complaints, the police registered a case below the part 174 CRPC.
The boy’s body was handed over to family members after postmortem at the Polachi government hospital on Monday afternoon.
