Gurgaon: thick fog blankets enveloped the city on Thursday morning because the minimum temperature dropped to 6.6 degrees, down from 7.5 degrees Wednesday.
The weather department has expected a very dense fog on Friday.
The minimum temperature, officials said, can touch five degrees on Sunday.

“The recent rain brought moisture and temperature which caused the formation of fog in the region.

Meanwhile in the capital, Thursday morning was the third thick fog mantra that season at Palam, while Safdarjung, who was the weather station Pangkalan Delhi, recording the first.
IMD said the visibility fell to 50 meters at the Palam starting at 4.30am to 9:30 a.m.
Fixed visibility between 50 and 100 meters in Safdarjung from 7am to 9:30 a.m.
The minimum temperature drops to 5.8 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal.
The maximum temperature is recorded at 16.7 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal.
