Lucknow: In major developments that can provide a big boost on the country’s economic and social development, the Lucknow Node of Up Defense Corridor can immediately start producing brahmos missiles that are sophisticated.
Chairman of the Minister of Yogi Adyityanath has given it forward for the project.
Director General of Brahmos Aerospace Sudhir Kumar Mishra met CM on Tuesday.
In his letter to CEO of Upeida and the additional Secretary of the Head (Houses) Awanish Awasthi, Mishra had searched 200 acre land for the project in the defense corridor.
“We have decided to provide land to Brahmos Aerospace.
The delegation from Aerospace also meets cm today,” Awasthi Toi said.
This project is expected to produce employment for around 10,000 personnel, including skilled and skilled non-skilled workers.
The unit will require around 500 engineers and technicians while the other remaining will be in additional units.
