Nagpur: A 50-year-old man who died of a brain stroke, gave a new lease of life to two young patients because the organs were donated after the agreement provided by his family.
Vijay Rangari, a resident of Khaparsheda, was treated at a new era hospital after severe intracranial bleeding on August 11.
Regardless of treatment, his condition deteriorated neurologically and the team of doctors declared him to die on August 16.
At the new era hospital, a leader in organ donations and transplant activities in Vidarbha, Dr.
Ashwini Choudhary advised Rangari’s family members.
His wife Roshani and Princess Mohini easily agreed to donate their organs.
The doctor decided to donate his kidney, heart, and eyes to the recipient who qualified.
“Even though the Pandemic year, this is a donated organ donation this year and 75th since 2013,” said Dr.
Vibhavari Dani, President of Nagpur Coordination Zonal Transplant (ZTCC).
One kidney and heart was allocated for patients in need at the same new era hospital while other kidneys were transplanted to 51-year-old patients at Wockhardt Hospital.

Sanjay Kolte, Honorary Secretary of ZTCC, Nagpur, said that awareness of commendable family members.
“The patient’s wife and his daughter easily agreed to contribute its worthy organs.
The week of the organ donation is underway and we are happy to see such people who understand the importance of noble work,” Dr.
Kolte said.
The new era hospital conducts an honor corridor to pay respect for donors and family members and also provides a free ambulance to transport mortal remnants to his house.
