SURAT: A 25-year-old resident of Vesu that had been targeted at three string snatchers close to her home not merely dared to fight back but also was able to decode 1 offender on Saturday evening.
Kirti Bhutda was walking towards her home at Capital Life construction after purchasing groceries after three bike-borne robbers assaulted her.
Bhutda told authorities the string snatchers came from behind and ceased their bicycle close to her.
One of these got down in the bicycle and grabbed Bhutda’s gold necklace worth Rs 70,000 plus they were going to fleewhen she recognized she was robbed and nabbed them from the top before yelling for support.
The trio was recognized as Ashique alias Kaliyo Vora, Raj alias Kaliyo Rathod and Laxman Nepali by authorities who stated that Bhutda captured one robber if they attempted to flee.
After she caught hold of Nepali, who obtained her series from Vora who’d snatched this, the trio dropped off once they dropped equilibrium of the car.
Meanwhile, hearing her shouts, her building’s security guard in addition to passers-by hurried to her aid.
While one whose top Bhutda had captured was able to flee together with the third robber and take away the golden string, Vora had been nabbed.
Afterwards, Vora was passed on to Khatodra police station in which a chain-snatching offence had been filed against him,” Rathod and Nepali.
Vora is a resident of Salabatpura and Rathod is a resident of Sagrampura, although Nepali resides in a footwear store near Majuragate.
