MADRID: Two Spanish police officers naved the frozen reservoir to save a dog stranded when the cold front arrived in the northern part of the country, the police said on Wednesday.
The video recording issued by the police showed the officers stripped to the waist and marched to the ice waters to bring animals back to the bank.
The dog was stuck in the reservoir in Canfranc, in Aragon, East Spain, for hours on Tuesday, police said.
The Spanish Meteorology Agency predicted heavy snow and strong winds in the parts of North Spain on Wednesday.
To avoid congestion on the road, the traffic authority urges people to return earlier than a five-day break that will expire on Wednesday.
