Brasilia: Brazil registered 868 Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, raising their national death to 541,266, Saturday Ministry of Health.
34,339 new cases were detected, taking the total top case to 19,342,448, the ministry said.
Brazil currently has the second highest pandemic victim in the world after the United States, and the third largest Kaseload, after the United States and India.
The South American country, which experienced a wave of new infections with hospitals overwhelmed by patients, had a mortality rate of around 257.6 deaths per 100,000 population, the ministry said.
Around 120 million people in Brazil have received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine, and more than 33.2 million people have been fully vaccinated
