The rainy season has shifted north, touching the foot of the hill, bringing more rain towards the northern part of the country, which will see the hot and humid conditions win in Delhi-NCR for the next six days.
Delhi recorded a maximum of 36.2 degrees Celsius on Wednesday – two degrees above normal for now this season.
It is expected to drift around 35-36 degrees Celsius for the next five days, touching 37 degrees on August 17, the estimate said.
An official met said there was a possibility of drizzling on August 16, the possibility of rain on the remaining days a little.
“The rainy season’s trough has shifted and will only return south next week.
It can bring good rainfall again in this region,” the official said.
