Break from ‘severe’ pollution because of the wind, but this aqi gurgaon is still ‘very poor’

Gurgaon: air quality index (AQI) in Gurgaon increased to ‘very poor’ on Monday after staying in the category of ‘severe’ during the last three days.
Gurgaon recorded AQI 369 on Monday, down from 419 on Sunday.
After the celebration of Diwali on Thursday, the city has recorded AQIS 472 and 456 on Friday and Saturday.
The average wind speed increased to 10 km / h on Monday of 8km / h on Sunday, the spread of pollutants in the lower atmosphere.
However, the air quality will remain in the category of ‘very bad’ for two days, according to the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB).
The officials indicated that there was trash on fire in several places in the city, which contributed to the increase in pollutants.

51 sectors recorded the highest AQI 388, followed by Vikas Sadan, Teri Gram, GWAL Pahari with AQIS respectively 376, 370 and 349.
Last year, the city AQI staying in the category of ‘severe’ during this time, according to data provided by the control board pollution center (CPCB).
To avoid repetition, HSPCB officials said that a team of water sprinkled on their way across the county to reduce dust pollution.
“Today, we witnessed the air quality better after three days ‘severe’ Aqi.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Gurgaon recorded a minimum temperature of 13.9 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius on Monday.
Low temperatures have continued to prevent the spread of pollutants closer to the ground, experts said the air quality.
Meanwhile, residents of Gurgaon are seen wearing masks during their night journey on Monday.
“It’s hard to stay indoors all the time.
We can not confine pets in the home,” said Manoj Kumar, a resident of Sector-15.
According to the system of air quality and weather forecasting and research (safar), contribution to PM2.5 Delhi stubble burning is reduced from 48% on Sunday up to 30% on Monday.
