Kolkata: A BJP Mla Bengal Barat on a contract on Saturday allegedly told party workers to destroy the hands and feet of the leaders of Trinamool Congress if they terrorized them and slapped false charges against them.
In the intended video that appeared on social media, Majumder’s Shapan, BJP Bongaon South legislator, also promised that he would always be on party workers who were depressed in any situation.
“If the leader (TMC) is trying to frame our workers in fake cases, if our workers are terrorized, that the leader may not return safely.

Be on your side, “Majumder sounded told his supporters at a party meeting in the video.
PTI cannot verify the authenticity of the video independently.
Reacting to Majumder’s suspected comments, Trinamool Congress Kunal Ghosh spokesman claimed that this showed BJP leader mindset and culture.
“We strongly condemn languages, words and threats like that.
Because of frustration after the popularity of the Trinamool Congress in the area, he issued a threat like that,” he said.
BJP State President Sukanta Majumder said his party did not believe in violent politics.
“If (Bangaon South) MLA has made a comment like that, it was a response to the threat recently by the local TMC leader Aorani Sarkar to skin his political opponent ahead of the Bongaon poll,” he said.
Sarkar has denied a BJP worker in the area and described Mla as a person who had used harsh words and other TMC leaders in the past.
