New Delhi: Covid breakthrough infection reported in India in the expected amount, the sorting of the Genome of the Insacog Consortium has said in recent bulletins.
It is said that Delta continues to be a dominant lineage in India and globally.
When someone got an infection even after vaccinated, it was called a breakthrough case.
Insacog said that based on high strating reclassification, the total number of delta sub-lineage was only 856 of all the samples analyzed, far less than those reported on several global websites.
