Hyderabad: Prohibition and excise oaths have captured three drug vendors and confiscated 70 grams of hash oil and two-wheeled from their ownership in Patancheru.
Acting on specific information, the team under the supervision of K Raghuram, assistant commissioner of the solvent & excise enforcement, Medak, was arrested by M Malikarjun (20) Borabanda on the street service near Patancheru Toll Plaza on Tuesday night.
The excise team was interrogated by Malikarjun and he provided details of two suppliers.
Based on the confession of Malikarjun, the excise team stormed a house in Borabanda and arrested his colleagues, SK Shamshuddin, 21 and G Srikanth, 19.
Seven bottles – each containing 10 grams of hash oil – confiscated.
Apart from hash oil, the excise team also seized two-wheeled vehicles, 1,700 RS cash and three cellphones from the defendant.
“The value of the property seized is around Rs 1 Lakh,” said excise officials.
According to officials, the defendant obtained hash oil from an unknown supplier in the Visakhapatnam Agency area to sell it in Hyderabad for profit.
This is the second case of hashish oil confiscation in a two-day range.
Interestingly, the two gangs have been operating from the Borabanda area.
On Monday night, the southern assignment unit of the Sleuths Task Force was afraid to arrest two Peddler-MD Ibrahim Khan and MD Khaja Mubeenuddin – for allegedly selling hash oil to students and other clients in the city.
They also confiscated 25 smuggled bottles along with two cellphones from their ownership.
