LONDON: Boss Brentford Thomas Frank has signed a new contract that runs up to 2025, the Premier League club announces on Monday.
January 48 years old, who was previously a head coach assistant under Dean Smith, took over in the London Club in October 2018.
He guided them to promote last season through the championship play-off and they are currently 14 in the Premier League table.
Frank said in a video message about Brentford’s official twitter feed that he was honored to “continue a fantastic trip”.
“We created a lot of Brentford history.
I look forward to doing the best every day to try to make a new history with everyone fantastic at the club,” he added.
Frank’s assistant, Brian Riemer, also signed a new contract.
“They have become an integral part of the success that we have shared in the recent season, peaking in achieving the target of playing with us in the Premier League,” said Director of Football Club, Phil Giles.
“We want to keep taking Brentford forward, to compete with the club much bigger than us, and to see how far we can advance.”
