Jaipur: Rajasthan ACB on Wednesday arrested an inspector posted with the Narcotics Center Bureau (CBN) to take a bribe of RS 2 Lakh promising to provide assistance in the case of narcotics suspected of doubting.
Dg ACB BL Soni said the defendant was identified as safe Phogat, arrested after he was arrested with red hands taking bribes.
“From Rs 2 lakh from bribery, there is a native currency record of Rs 30,000 while the remaining RS 1.70 lakh consists of dummy records,” said Soni.
According to Soni, the complainants have alleged that Phogat presses it for bribes by promising not to make him accused of narcotics.
“The complainant claimed that he had no role in this but Phogat continued to harass him, asked him to pay bribes to provide assistance to the allegations of Trump.
The defendant threatened the reporter that he would be accused of accusing this case if he failed to pay bribes,” said an official.
The complainant cannot marshal money and ask for help from ACB.
He also told ACB that he did not have a role in a case where Phogat had threatened to take action against him.
ACB said they verified complaints against Phogat and put the trap on Wednesday.
As soon as the defendant took cash, Sleuth ACB arrested him from Vidhyadhar Nagar’s house.
According to Soni, ACB Sleuths also looked for her home and found RS 6 lakh cash.
The ACB team was led by additional SP and one SP vice (DSP) was looking for a defendant’s house.
